Synopsis:
imdb wrote:A young deaf boy who calls himself "Captain Johnno" befriends Tony, an Italian fisherman in the small Australian fishing town they live in. Both feel outcast by the town and both share a great love of the sea. When Johnno's beloved sister leaves to go to boarding school, he is so upset he runs away to an island hiding place, causing much distress in the town. His friend Tony helps him understand how much he is loved and missed by the townsfolk and his family.
Rebecca Sykes stars as Johnno's 13 - 15yo sister. :heart

Love your posts, starfish.. Like loverboy, fll, ptg and others you find and post some neat, seldom heard of films. Many thanks also for the screen caps; they are VERY appreciated.

Thanks
guessing by the amount of reshare requests you've made recently you must be compiling your own copy of FLM's entire database, good luck on that.

I don't have cable or satellite, but I have a projector, and I average watching about 1 movie a night. I own about 2000 DVDs of which I have watched just about all. I love movies with kids in them (I have never grown up) and FLM has been a great resource for me. Unfortunately, most of the movies I have that fit the FLM category are already posted on the site, but I am adding what I can to it.

There are so many movies that are unavailable on DVD, or foreign ones (foreign to me, that is) that are almost impossible to find. A lot of times I can track a DVD down once I know it is available and if I can navigate my way through a website that I can not read, because like I have said a couple of times before, I would rather own the DVD than download it. FLM has taken a bite out of my finances lately as I am finding a lot that I want to purchase after I have watched it.

I have downloaded quite a bit from FLM - but when I have what I want, it will total much less than a 10th of what is on the site. I will watch movies without subtitles, but usually only if kids are dominant throughout the movie. If a movie is in English or has subtitles, I am much more likely to want it. I am usually not very interested in movies that are mostly adults, even if there are "OT" scenes in them - especially if there is no English, which leaves out a lot of movies. TV shows either have to be in English or mostly kids. I also understand Spanish, but there is not a lot on FLM in Spanish.

I have a few more requests, but then I will slow down for a while as most of what I am downloading has sources out there or I have not been downloading them that long.

And remember, I just found the site this year. Some of the people here have been downloading from the site for more than 5 years. I have quite a bit to catch up on, some which may not have a source for quite a while. I have also noticed that when I request a reshare, that other people take advantage of it as well. I see Willow downloading Little Heroes and Her Majesty, and For an Angel downloading Rip Girls and Little Heroes after I requested them. I am sure there are others as well.

THANK YOU to every one who is willing to share.

Quite......while FLM Hash is an excellent resource there is still no substitute for an old-fashioned thread reshare request to act as a bump & generate a bit of interest. With both options now available we have an enviably high success rate in filling these requests.

I concur with LB and would also add that it may also generate upgrades as well. some of the older releases are vhsrips or analog tvrips that are now out on dvd and blu-ray and where I live all tv is now digital and hdtv is adding content every week. :cool

Thank you Starfish for the upgrade :thumbsup
