2. March, 2011
Samson (11 years) is the rom, it was previously called gypsy. In the summer goes Samson and his big family out on the road, but they have trouble getting into the campsites. It seems Samson's silly, because that's where his friends are.
See the whole documentary about Samson here.
Do not have their own land
The rooms originates from India. They came to Europe, Turkey / Constantinople in 1096. They do not have a separate country, but are now scattered all over the world. In Norway, there live about 700-800 roms. They have been here since the mid 1800's and have traditionally lived by trade and a different metal work, while they have performed with music and song, and run with prediction
Rooms
The word space originates from their language, Romanes, meaning "man." The roms were formerly called gypsies, but they prefer to be referred to as rates, what they have always called themselves.
Tours around
Many rooms travels much of the year, mostly in Norway and Scandinavia, but also elsewhere in Europe. They do this among other things that adults can engage in trade, to be with extended family and their kids can be with each other.
