Regarding Shorts

I too am bored with the endless BLT campaign

so much so I feel like feeding the BLT campaign some attention.

this short film "LOT" that BLT seems to have a fair deal of knowledge about.
guess what BLT if you have a better copy no one is stopping you from making the release[REL] yourself.

I won't comment on the rest as it appears to be a losing debate you are taking up with popdrome.(good luck)

This short is very difficult to find here, because "lot" is a common word and it does not appear in title, which would give the thread a higher rank.

I think a shorts section would be great, similar to music videos! However, more prominent, professionally produced shorts could be posted in release section.

This is IMO a good idea. Short shorts could be handled in the same way as music videos (just one forum under "Some other stuff...").

My suggestion would be to have a Shorts section, nicely arranged by subsections depending on the running time.

< 1 hour to 45 minutes

< 45 minutes to 30 minutes

< 30 minutes to 15 minutes

< 15 minutes to 5 minutes

< 5 minutes

Would be nice to see the shorts sorted this way and I hope BLT would agree to

The point is that all those shorts that are dumped into a single thread are very difficult to find by title (see the "lot" example above). It is also difficult to comment, because everything is mixed together. I guess the ideal would be a separate REL for each short (regardless of length), but if people don't want to make proper RELs, they could at least use the shorts forum, rather than dump everything in General (or not post at all).

Heya Gil. No one is dumping, in fact the YT and vimeo threads aforementioned - they've been made sense into by Phuzzy! He put most of the info for the vids.

"the vid is hard to find" is not a valid argument, IMO. hence:

try finding a movie where the "girl is swimming around a pair of rocks where she leaves a boy crying, to find a flintstone that has been rumored about", which I found myself doing the other day. After some research I found the excellent Red Agate (Krasnyj Agat) thanks too goooogle on FLM!

Now the big question is... Is It a SHORT? 23 minutes running time hint hint

short answer: NO!

Yep a short short section would be nice, although some one-minute shorts would be too short.

i think the leg on the right is bigger,or maybe it's the one on the left that's smaller.
