Starfish, I'm still not seeing your picture unless I "view" it in Firefox. I think it has something to do with not including the url so it doesn't show the thumbnail. I'm going to re-up it - tell me if you can see it.

it only happens with hotlinking,i use postimage to upload the pic as normal,go back to flm, preview my post,click on my pic,right click on image and choose copy image url(google chrome),then i go back to flm,delete the code from message and use the board tools to repost the image, i.e. [img] url [img]

it took me ages to get this working,just so my animated gifs would move(without clicking) and also to allow full size pics.
its frustrating that only some can see them,obviously something to do with browser settings.

i see all posted images.

starfish you are doing what I was doing a couple of weeks ago. I went through a wholes series of debates with my self and FLL about this and eventually took an easier path and started using another file host for full size images. Fuk postimage

i want my animations to actually move and the ability to post large pics.

The one thing I see that might cause the problems is using copy image url... instead, after you click on your image and get the full page (with ads) from postimage, click on "show codes" (needs js) to get the appropriate link for hotlinking. Sometimes the results from show codes and the results from copy image url match, sometimes not, and from what I see it's when they don't match that there's a problem.

Or as ptg does, you can use another imagehost. postimage usually works for me though I occasionally have used others. postimage has the advantage I've never seen them disabling an image due to bandwidth or TOS, which I am sure you've seen many examples of from other hosts. I am sure in some cases they do but not as commonly as others.

People should be aware that there is a porn movie called Little Girls Blue - that ain't this one.

I must admit I have no clue why people needed to know this. Finding porn on eMule (or elsewhere) is not exactly an arcane art.

As starfish pointed out that's not it. And in basic html, the url page and the image are independent in how the are fetched from the server. The presence of the link doesn't affect the image, whether there's a url tag or not it's the img tag that controls what is shown.
