As long as it's a DVDRip, the people in that newsgroup don't always post the best there is for a given movie, some check here but most don't. For example someone posted the old bad copy of Arvacska months after ghost's DVDRip was available. And then posted my subs, heh. Soon I think I'll get newsgroup access back and may post a few things there.

As ghost said, it won't be a DVD rip. I think we're all searching for that elusive good quality version that probably doesn't exist. I here what you say FLL......my rip of 'The River Rat' was released at thelostmovies with my tag neatly removed...........I'd be wondering why suddenly people were all over this on eMule! Not that I was upset.......I was flattered that one of my (not very good rips) was deemed good enough for Usenet.
The nfo for Is-Slottet lied.......this is actually a 697mb rip with external subs (probably the same as already released). I'm off to work now & have no time to verify the quality but I'll release anyway as requested. Feel free to delete the link if you consider it serves no purpose.

Sorry, I must have been confusing this with something else, or in my mind when I saw subs on a version I have I thought "DVD" which is often the case.

I don't really expect superior quality, since it's a smaller MPG, but we'll see... the quality of the source is the #1 factor of course.

Thanks Starfish for releasing Saga's rip I too have it. if you look at all his uploads you will find several that I have released in the past including some not released. http://thepiratebay.org/user/Sagablanc/

I have seen a few sites that have this on DVD but Nordic video stores I have trouble ordering from(tried and failed). I have several vhs-rips of this including the ones we have here. hopefully someone else can obtain the DVD. this movie is a good one and deserves the best.

Isslottet has never been released to DVD, so the sites advertising with dvds are most likely selling vhs to DVD copies.
