Kiernan Shipka - promising star

Being the spawn of Don and Betty Draper must make for an interesting childhood. Thanks to Kiernan Shipka, we get to see the result of their crazy parenting in the form of Sally Draper, their precocious young daughter on the American drama, Mad Men. A supporting character at best in the earlier episodes, Sally has been granted more and more screen time in recent episodes, undoubtedly because of Kiernan’s incredible presence and portrayal of a child conflicted by her parents’ awful behaviour. In reality, she’s incredibly intelligent and articulate for her mere 10 years and we’re certain that it’s only a matter of time before Sally Draper has her own spin-off show entitled Sally Draper: Thanks for nothing, Mom!.
