This is actually an austrian movie. I have seen it two times.
Next time I stumble on a broadcast, I'll record and release it for you.

Lisa and the Saber-Tooth Tiger

Lisa is eight and has spent her childhood, though not unhappy, in an orphanage. Nevertheless, she is happy when she is adopted by the childless journalist Eve. Quickly she feels at home in her new surroundings and makes friends with the same-aged Birgit. The two girls build a mammoth trap in the garden, convert the bathroom with wet cotton wool into a limestone cave and - whenever they let their imaginations run wild - they put the fear of God into the adults.
Lisa appears to have picked a winner with her new friend. Eva it is a loving mother, and Martin, Eva's husband, though rarely at home, is an understanding friend to Lisa. Only gradually the girl realizes that her new parents are facing divorce.

Events take a dramatic turn..
