This is not a good nudist film, but it may have some bits of FLM interest. I've posted a really bad quality trailer of the movie that I garnered off a "Something Weird" video a few years back. Should be a good release if someone can find a decent copy of the film.
Google only found 2 pages on this so it's a very rare one. Nudist films from this era (50 years ago!) are almost like home movies and screen time for the children is probably minimal. Is this film even on-topic?
I agree we don't want to encourage Nudist films. If a film happens to contain naturalism as part of it is one thing, but to have it as the films main intent is to much of a Grey area that could lead to other unwanted films.
It's off-topic in the sense we decided long ago this type of film wasn't where we wanted FLM to be. It's one thing for a film to incidentally have child nudity in it, it's another for a film to be here because it has nude children. It's the intent that matters because that's where accusations of child porn arise. We don't encourage nudist films just like we don't want the "Children in Cinema" clips. Having a minute of nudity in a 90-minute film means the emphasis was the film. A nudist movie's sole purpose is to show naked people and the CiC clips' sole purpose is to show naked kids.
Before the shakeup in 2011, child nudity was almost a requirement for whether a film was considered on-topic. FLM had a poor reputation among other childhood-oriented film sites. We've worked hard to move away from that perception. That type of film hasn't been removed from FLM, we just don't stress that aspect. In fact, just about the only films we have removed were out-and-out porn.
Maybe we should have a discussion about whether this type of film should be allowed. I vote "no" because I don't want to return to being ashamed for people to see the FLM logo on my screen.
To be honest, I feel a slight difference between for example purenudism movies (or similar), which definitely doesn't belong to this forum and "acted" movies that have a plot (doesn't matter whether good or poor). But I certainly accept the decission to leave it here.
