I recorded this short movie from TV recently and nearly forgot about it:

A girl surrounded by divers and swimmers feels ashamed of her fear of
jumping into the water. But she can escape her fears if she holds her breath
for long enough and surrenders to her imagination. In doing so she en -
coun ters two wonderfully weightless, drifting creatures. Can the girl manage
to enter their magical world?

I recorded it, but it's the same version with hard subs. (Can't they do separate subs with DVB? )

Very nice short, though. Always nice to see kids getting wet fully clothed

Yes they could!! Other channels do this! I don't know why arte always broadcast with hardcoded subs.
