Broken links of the older posts

Hi all,
in some older posts are not working links to images.
I would be very happy if you could update.
I know it's tedious, but many new members would certainly appreciate it.

When I see it in my posts I always update. But I not going to waste my time looking for broken links. I would appreciate if many new members would contribute back some of what they take but that isn't going to happen either. Like you said it is tedious yet we took the time to upload them in the first place.

Asking for more than is already given does not sit well.

I'm aware of the problem. Sadly we have lost many images, particularly those that have been linked from arbitrary websites, but also those that were hosted at imageshack and alike. Recently I found that even many popdrome's pics that were hosted at his own site were missing

Caps can be reposted, but some images are really rare and hard to find.

Recently I made a backup of all embedded images, but it's already too late.

I've thought about hosting images on site, but that would make the site slower and may cause problems if we ever have to start paying for data volume.

it would be nice to renew the lost images,but not really practical,especially for those that don't have the movie.
i think the trouble we've taken recently to fix dead posts and verify links is more than enough work for such a small team of contributors.

I would like to thank everyone for the answers.
I expected a similar reaction.
I understand that it is difficult to keep long live links to unique images.
Some pictures can be found on search engines, but it's not what we can take on the film, and lead to the download of the film. I decide after seeing images , if I will download a movie.
This forum is one of the best I've been registered.
And thank you to all who founded it, and who takes care of him.
