I use videolan (VLC) to view files this lets you preview a lot more.

http://www.videolan.org

If you go to options and files on emule you can make it your default viewer for Part files

I use eDwatch is a very good tool for preview almost all Kind of movies, works for avi mpeg, divx xVid and wmv

you cand find it here

http://edwatch.cjb.net/

you need other tools as complementary tools as VCL Videolan, Avi preview, Winrar, and Zipfix, you can preview also the conntent of rar and zip files and some iso images

Link for Avipreview

http://www.funkster.org/

Link for Videolan

http://www.videolan.org/

only create a folder where content them and another for contet the temp of videos. and configure it using thoes folders, and ready:

you can limit the temp size of the videos, you can see static previews of avi files and save them to bmp in version 1.6.0 build 271 you can extract files from Zip files even if download does not finish

Hope it helps you

:thumbsup

Note all these software is freeware exept for Win rar so don't worry of copyright links.

an incomplete file is pretty unstable, preview is usually only used to check the quality of the file and/or if it is a fake

One last detail. To preview a movie that is unstable (with VLC), try to disable the audio track. It should then play well...
