i didn't say anything about hardcoded,that was 'vidman' this version has no subs,i think i grabbed this from the links posted by 'pavementstephen'

The hard-coded subs off of my post are off of the original DVD (and ripped at the same time) - so they are timed correctly and spelled correctly, if you are worried about that. Plus they are easier to read that many subtitles.

i intend to make them fit,however long it takes.Another function i discovered in subtitle workshop is the little slider on far right of screen,when editing subs with movie,it moves the changed subs wherever you want on the screen.

Could you tell us what this file is, pavementstephen? Is it an upgrade to vidman's upgrade or subtitles or what?
