Jacques Doillon

Doillon is definitely one of my favorite directors. Been a fan since Ponette was out in theaters... Amongst my favs, Ponette, la drôlesse, la fille de 15 ans, La pirate (with 9-10yo Laure Marsac), Le jeune Werther and La Vie de Famille. Mara Goyet, who plays the daughter in La Vie de Famille, now writes movie scripts (or scenarios) !
All the movies I mentionned are OT, and other ones are - or not - OT but still good too... Petits Frères, Amoureuse (with an older Charlotte Gainsbourg), Le petit criminel (first movie with Clotilde Coureau, who now is a princess ), Les doigts dans la tête...
I'm drawing this list from my memories, so I must be forgetting many ! For those of you who enjoy the French touch (i.e. "talking movies"), Doillon is just one of the best references IMHO !

Oh, I forgot to mention "Trop (peu) d'amour". Too old actresses for this forum, but quite an interesting one to check out anyway !
