far too many unread posts
i havent visited any of the shorts threads since before Ptg posted his collection,i don't know when a new post is made because there are well over a hundred new posts in this one,and i'm definitely not opening all of them, will resetting the board cookies fix this?
Re: far too many unread posts
Resetting cookies probably won't fix this, but you can go to forum and click "Mark topics read" at the bottom...

Re: far too many unread posts
I don't think so, I think last-read stats are stored in the database. If you do delete the board cookies, you'll have to log in with userid and password again - it won't automatically log you in.
Do you want to just mark everything as "read" so you don't see them as new messages any longer? If so, click the Mark forums read selection at the top of the main screen. Doing this marks every post in every forum as if you already read it, so read all the other forums with new posts first before you use it.

Re: far too many unread posts
When phuzzy split them into a new thread I just marked all post read. Once you do this just go by the date posted if you are sure if it is new or not. Plus they are short enough to watch again...

You mean short enough to 'read' again, don't you?ptguardian wrote:... Plus they are short enough to watch again...

You might not want to ignore all of ptguardian's hard work - there are some real gems in there.
