This is sort of a slapstick Spanish Blue Lagoon but with less plot, poorer acting, and lousy special effects. Two girls and their governess board a ship to escape a war in their city. The ship wrecks (where'd the rest of the passengers and crew disappear to??) and they wash up on an island. From this point, both the girls are topless while the governess is in her (1800's) underclothes. For a 'desert' island, there's a lot of coming and going, including a shipwrecked sailor who the governess later falls in love with, some "natives" who are really pirates, and a guy that's just coincidentally the right age to woo the older girl and who comes to the island several times in a rowboat but somehow never thinks of rescuing them. The pirates find some gems the girls had pounded into the ground (without realizing they were valuable) and take the older girl and her boyfriend prisoner to try to find out where more treasure is. The little girl saves them by single-handedly wiping out the bad guys.

This is definitely no Oscar winner, but the "scenery" is nice.
