I tried ScarAngel last week and it crashed/shut down by itself every day, usually while I wasn't there to restart it. I didn't start with a clean install - copied my morph dir then replaced all .exe/.dll/etc. with Scar's - so that may have been a factor, but you might want to keep an eye on it. Scar has some nice features but not if it won't stay running on my system. I may try it again with a clean setup later.

I searched for a guide - didn't find anything - so I downloaded the zip file and extracted it into the MorphXT folder, overwriting the files that were already there. That seems to have worked - it picked up all my settings (even my nick and my secure ID) - including the ports (not a problem for me, but it served as an indicator that things had gone as planned). :D

Oh dear! I just saw my upload/download ratio with starfish21. Pathetic. :blush I'm depressed. Still, my ratios with quite a few other guys is decent. :)

I'm missing the amount remaining figure that MorphXT used to show on a per source basis. Wonder where that went? On the other hand, the total transfer graph for the network adapter is back. :D

Anyway, fingers crossed. Running on Windows 8 64bit.

That'll explain why you're still showing as using scarangel .

Ok, that seems fine. That [reAH] is something it is adding on its own - you have [WSMH] after your nick.

I think almost everyone's ratio with starfish is pathetic. The rare times he or ptg downloads from me I give them an unlimited friend slot to try to reduce it at least a little bit. ;)

Here's a "Thank you" to everyone who shares, especially starfish and ptguardian who go above and beyond. :clap :dance

I think that's to try to foil nick thieves. Can't see how nick stealing would make much difference except to those few "releaser" mods that use community tags to block everyone BUT people with the tag and they're pretty rare - I think "serious" traders probably use torrents or private DDL's anyway.

For the rest of us who don't use those mods, nick thieves are a gnat's bite because their queue rating doesn't get upped unless someone puts them in their friends list. I'll put someone with the [FLM] tag in my friends list even if I don't recognize their nick, but hey, I'm a nice guy. ;)
