Re: MOD change
I can only imagine what my share ratio is? Rare occasion in recent years that I download anything on the mule. I would say my emule time is 95% upload at least. Must be close to a terabyte by now
Obviously fun though
Re: MOD change
I guess I'm your antipode then. Because I download nearly everything on the mule

Re: MOD change
i think i've downloaded about 6 or 7 things in the last year on the mule,i always look for alternatives.
Re: MOD change
Anyone know what to do about stuff like this?
Also, I'm seeing that giving someone a friendslot often has no effect, especially if that client is already uploading to me. I have to wait until they are actully downloading from me, and then apply the friendslot.
I don't want to block/ban/drop friends.20-02-2013 11:59:15: Removing client from upload list: client is blocking too often and max slots are reached Client: <IP> [kF2]dreamule.org [}] «DreaMule 3.2»' (eMule v0.49a [DreaMule 3.2],OnQueue/Uploading/None) Transferred: 33:33 mins SessionUp: 9.72 MB QueueSessionPayload: 9.72 MB In buffer: 90 KB Req blocks: 2 File: Hallmark-Be My Valentine [2013].avi

Re: MOD change
Mods are more trouble than they are worth in my opinion. Only trouble I have had is with the people who have them. I have had the same client for several years with no mods only tweeks to the settings and I usually download first or second when a lot of people are grabbing a file even when I come late to the party. In fact I have no clue what the advantage and or interest is with mods?
Recently you were downloading Cooper from me then you weren't. Around the same time you said you changed clients. Rmt was on that file as well and finished first than he finished you off. So not sure if you are still connecting to me now? Also I have only connected once in over a year to Starfish on a file I requested him to unblock me for. He said he wasn't blocking me yet he appeared and the file was downloaded. Never since have I seen him, unless he changed his knick? Almost everyone else here who is a regular I see in my queue at some point.
What is the advantage of a mod/mods?

Re: MOD change
I agree that choosing a client has seemingly come down to an assessment of which is the least buggy.
I have seldom downloaded anything from you directly - as in the example that you gave. No problems with starfish21, though.
Even lb, who in the years gone by used to be my primary source, keeps disappearing after uploading a nominal amount. yoko, when he has the bandwidth, is great.
I'm queued up for Playdate, but haven't seen you at all (or so it seems - the tooltip shows have seen a complete source). Anyway, Rmt is also on it, so I suppose I'll get it via him, as with Cooper.

Re: MOD change
i tend not to tinker with the settings.they're far too complicated for me,i havent changed my nick,so it sounds like the issue is with your client,Ptg.

Re: MOD change
Possibly, but it doesn't explain why I could once and then not again even though neither of us changed anything. It is possible we keep different working hours at the old mule factory.starfish21 wrote:i tend not to tinker with the settings.they're far too complicated for me,i havent changed my nick,so it sounds like the issue is with your client,Ptg.
