Pete Murray, crumbly TV personality & DJ explores Hastings, the famous south coast resort???

Nothing to get over excited about but a few nice moments. No, we don't talk like this any more & unfortunately the kids nowadays don't usually dress like this either!

Lifted straight from the 2 Disc DVD of 'This Sceptred Isle, Day Trips in England 1940s to 1970s'. The set also includes Terry Wogan narrating a short about the antics of the animals at Twycross Zoo entitled 'Don't Gape'. For one brief moment my vivid imagination wondered what this was going to be about.........

This was ripped as an experiment to make sure I can pick individual episodes from a collection of VOB's & encode in the mp4 format. Fucking long-winded but it appears to have worked. I'm also using a fresh install of a cracked Fireball mod of eMule I got from ghost many moons ago after tiring of MorphXT having tantrums since migrating to Windoze 7 so until I get the settings right don't expect my upload to behave as it has done with previous releases.

Plenty on YouTube available. Funny how all the kids seem to know that famous nursery rhyme "Hey Diddle Diddle" off by heart.....

Must be a sign of the times... I know that one by heart too.

It reminds me of a much longer poem "The Owl and The Pussycat"; I doubt if anyone remembers that by heart. :)

"O lovely Pussy, O Pussy, my love,
What a beautiful Pussy you are,
You are,
You are!
What a beautiful Pussy you are!" :icon_biggrin2

Certainly do :icon_thumbsup......I recited that in it's entirety to an audience in the car only the other day. Mind you, I did have to google what exactly a 'runcible spoon' is.

Worrying times ahead though when I start waffling on about 'The Grand Old Duke of York, he had ten thousand men'.....

LOL I googled it and I still don't know exactly what a runcible spoon is. How times have changed... now the phrase "beautiful pussy" makes you think of something quite different. :blush

EDIT: you might need to tweak your settings. I haven't seen you yet for this file, nor for 'The Long Road Home'. I'm getting this file via kev and vidman, but not directly from you.
