As far as I can remember, there is also Madeline Zima who has an intersting part in this one. No real OT scene though, but a very nice one.

If I had to choose my favourite family movie... This would definitely be near the top as my favourite family movie

I've seen this movie 3 times and Kelsey Mulrooney impresses me every single time

Also damn, I just noticed she died a few years back, that's depressing af

Anyway, full movies for anyone interested

There are good horse movies as well as stupid horse movies, just like any other genre. This one I've never seen. I think it all depends on what they give the human actors to do and how well they do it. The equine ones are generally reliable regardless!

Moonee, thanks for bumping and making this a recommendation. I add almost anything that someone recommends here at FLM, I haven't really been disappointed yet.

Btw, I believe that ghost was only asking for assurance that this film was indeed recommended in spite of the focus on the horse. He isn't saying that all horse movie are stupid. It's just that we've been let down with animal-focused children's films with otherwise cute actresses before. :D

edit:
I am downloading the yts file available from here:
https://yts.do/movie/Second-Chances-1998/ - 1.79gb

It seems to downloading and is well seeded.

I am also going to give this larger file a try from here:

Many of these movies are made as "cute critter" movies to appeal to children. The FLM interest is usally the "cute kiddie" who just happens to interact with an animal. Right? I definitely like movies in a rural setting, and that always means animals!

P.S.: The only problem I ever had with horses was successfully staying on them. Ouch.
