Jasna is a teenage girl living in the poor suburbs of Belgrade, Serbia. She likes to record everything around her using her cell phone camera. She makes videos of herself, her friends, family and Djole - the boy of her dreams. Her home life is a mess. Her father is terminally ill and her mother can barely cope. No wonder she is spending more and more time hanging out with her friends, partying and drinking. At one of the parties, she finally starts a conversation with Djole and later they develop an intense sexual relationship. When he realizes that she will do anything to be close to him, Djole starts using her as a sexual object. Jasna starts experimenting with drugs and skipping school. The more that her life gets out of control the more she hopes Djole will reciprocate her feelings...

WARNING: This movie is extremely graphic! If Larry Clark remade Thirteen into a Serbian film, it would probably look something like this. The actress who plays the main character was supposedly 14 when she made this, so for obvious reasons they needed to use body doubles and "prosthetics" for the extra naughty scenes. The thing is, even in the scenes where it's obvious that they weren't using a body double, I was still shocked with what the filmmaker was able to get away with (maybe the fact that the director was a female had something to do with it.) This DVD has popped up a lot on Amazon.com when searching other [?similar?] movies. I don't know why I've always passed or ignored it before, but now you have most definitely piqued my interest..

Loaded quickly, but due to busy week it looks like I'll have to wait for the weekend to enjoy this..

It is likely that this film would have been considered CP were it not for the fact that the actress did not actually participate in her scenes, much like Ken Park, even though it is teen themed, the strong scenes were played by adult actors.

This film strongly depicts teen (14 year old girl) sexuality. We see full frontal nudity, fellatio, erect penises, ejaculation shots, and also some BDSM scenes where the 14 year old girl engages in sadomasochistic sex with her 17 yr old boyfriend. The oral sex scenes are explicit with shots of the (clearly prosthetic) penis in someone's mouth on multiple occasions; we see it in front of Jasna but don't see an identifiable face during penetration. The ejaculate is also simulated (milk instead of sperm). Body doubles were used in other explicit sex and full nudity scenes.
