In this small fishing village, women are considered "of the Earth" and are therefore bad-luck omens on a boat. But Teresa wants to prove she can be a fisherwoman and help her aged, wrinkled grandfather who has fished his entire life and knows no other existence. A beautiful film with some striking imagery.
