Three kids alone in a house. The older (14) is fascinated by the space conquest. He builds a rocket for his sweatheart. His little brother (11) has a passion for animals : he has a pet rabbit and often goes yelling in the forest to frighten the animals and save them from the hunters. Their little sister (5), somehow mysterious and silent, watches them. Each attends his own business, obsession, thinking. But when the rabbit is sent away in the rocket, and disappear forever, relationships turn sour. Is it possible to go back in time and mend things ?
