Reccomend good tv channels-europe.
Hi there thank's for the good forum guys. I though that I would start a thread with some info on some good tv channels to look at for films and series. I can start with a few suggestions;
Kiki on German satellite
Arte on German satellite
also some other channels on german satellite but cant remember the names
TV 1000 Nordic on scandanavian satellite
TV 1000 Family on Scandanavian satellite
SVT on Scandanavian satellite
also a few others on Scandanavian satellite but cant remember all the names.
Anyone else want to add to this list.

He meant KiKa, short for Kinderkanal. Still up and fine. The only real german children's channel.billanben wrote: Remember used to de der kinderkanal but maybe same as KIKI ?

The problem is that the nordic channels are not freely viewable and also not cracked. Means, you gotta have an abo to view them. I receive them on all on Sirius 5°E, but they're black.pacific234z wrote:Hi there thank's for the good forum guys. Good stations I can recommend (these are cracked):
Disney channel (Spain and France) (many series)
Disney channel +1 (Spain and France)
TPS Cinefamily (movies, series) and other TPS
TV Romania (many shows with kids)
some german public TV stations often send children's movies, like RBB
Nickelodeon (Spain, Germany), many cute TV series like Zoey 101 or Unfabulous
All distributed over Hotbird and Astra. There are many more which show good series/movies from time to time. The are also some free russian, lithuanian or ukrainian channels on Sirius, like ENTER +FILM, but they don't show such good movies. Old russian stuff.

Curious as to what kind of satellite setup you need to receive all of these - bit of a novice at this I am afraid. Maybe PM ? (unless anyone else interested ?)
Re: Reccomend good tv channels-europe.
The standard set: A 60cm dish, two LNBs and a receiver. Meanwhile I got a rotator, but this is only to get the swedish channels.billanben wrote: Curious as to what kind of satellite setup you need to receive all of these - bit of a novice at this I am afraid.
