Joan is an eleven-year old girl from the edge of the suburban sprawl of Australia. In the wake of a family tragedy, she becomes fascinated with natural disasters and their victims. Desperate to bring her family back together, Joan’s obsession drives her to a dangerous extreme. Acts of God is a piercing vision of suburban love, loss and living written and directed by Sarah-Jane Woulahan.
