"Ilk Ask" means First love and this very nice little Turkish film from 2006 tells three parallel love stories in the same family. It is the summer 1990, in a small coastal Turkish town the Arifogullari family used to be one of the most powerful and important families in the city. But those days are gone. Much of their property has been sold. The 85-year-old patriarch is a bitter man who is disappointed in his incompetent sons. After his death a long forgotten son returns home and opens a tragic door from the past. One of his sons is having a difficult relationship with his wife, his second son rediscovers an old flame and meanwhile his 12-year-old grandson (Raffaele Cedolini) falls in love for the first time. A charming film.
I just downloaded it and haven't watched it fully but it is good quality and a good looking movie. The girl seems to be in it a lot and she is quite the cutie.
