Hey Guys

I am sorry this is going the way it is, for some reason this session I seem not to be running very well. I don't know what it is. I know I am over my upload and download limit from my server for the month.

Could they be restricting it, I have never had this problem with emule before and it is a little frustrating for me as I am sure it is for evrybody else.

Because I am not a techno file some of billanben instructions shot over my head. anybody have any more suggestions for what I can do next.

Right now my emule figure has a black blindfold on it. I am trying to figure this out so evrybody can enjoy this movie

Hi RMT - firstly don't worry about getting this uploaded until you have addressed the underlying issues. Most ISPs will allow you to exceed your limit - but there is a heavy price to pay later. If this is the case, keep within your limits (unless you are the same financial bracket as say Bill Gates).

1. Are you able to call your ISP and find out their policy ?

2. What happens when you open e-mule, you select to connect to servers, do you see high or lowid for your connection ?

3. Now go to the transfers window - do you see activity in either/and uploads and downloads ? If not, lowid is usual suspect but this will not affect your upload. If you minimize emule then hover over the minimized icon, what do you see for the U and D settings ?

Why don't you use the WebServer interface? It lets you control and monitor your client from anywhere. :

Most clients have it. If yours doesn't, check out eMule or eMule Plus.

In options/ preferences, enable WS, set guest and admin passwords and you're done (forward the port in your router - if you have one - like you did the other ports).

Then, from the same computer, type *http://127.0.0.1:4711* (or whatever your WS port is). From another computer, type *http://<your IP address>:<your WS port>* (without the *, of course).

Another idea could be to send it using another media (let's say FTP or torrent) to one person. This person could then share it on emule much faster. You would only give 700mb of bandwidth and everybody would get it faster.

When I look at your nick in emule, I can see that your wait list is very very high. Another trick could be to remove some of your files in your shared folder (to keep only those who are not completed and that you are the only source). This would help us to get it way much faster.

Another good trick is to go to the shared files page in your client, select all the entries and set the priority to 'very low'. Now select the file in question and set the priority to 'release'.

You could also consider running another instance of the client (install to another (empty) folder and run from there) and only share this one file there. That client can then be used just for uploading. Remember to use different userhash and ports.

I changed the priority upload from no to high.

Didn't realize this was a problem hopefully this will help people upload it faster.
