10-year-old Rebecca Hampton is a real scene stealer. This short film was presented as a companion piece/prequel to the controversial Jean-Luc Godard film Je vous salue, Marie (1985) ("Hail Mary") about a college student who becomes pregnant through divine will. Marie is also the name of the little girl in this short - I'm assuming it's the same character.

Apparently the pope was none too happy with the movie and condemned it as offensive. His remarks became a selling point to promote it.

This bluray rip contains just the prequel short and not the whole movie. Its content is the same as previously posted files, only higher quality. It has English subs, original French audio, and there's a second Director's Commentary soundtrack (oddly enough in English) which I found interesting so I included it.
