Como Si Fueramos Novios (1986)

Part of the 'Amor de e Innocencia' [Innocent Love] series of musicals (Yes, it is a [shudder] Musical!) that were pretty much vehicles promoting ' Pedro [Pedrito] Fernández as a Mexican MALE counterpart to Shirley Temple in the late '70's/early '80's. MY attraction to the film is his 'love' interest, Ana Patricia Rojo who is best known around here for her role as the evil little Verónica in Veneno para las hadas AKA Poison for the Fairies (1986) ( https://www.first-loves.com/forums/v ... +las+hadas )

Synopsis:

Andrew and Laura are a Young spanish couple. Laura is blind and Andrew try's to raise enough money for her eye surgery so she can see again.

I made Spanish subs for this and my subtitling partner Basketsoup translated them into English. They are still available:

Since Basketsoup was a native US English speaker I guess the English translanslation is good enough - not like my earlier subtitles, which I translated myself. (For instance, those for "Pajarico" were fairly critizised here.)

We made subtitles for all of Pedrito Fernández movies and I still keep the DVDs. I can post rips in case someone is interested.
