At night, it's raining outside. Mom, Dad and Ji-soo are watching TV with anxious. The news reports on the fire at the kindergarten, where the little daughter Ji-hye goes. Her name is on the dead list. The family moans about her death. Somebody is knocking on the door. Just then, Ji-hye is waiting outside.

I think that synopsis I found may give a false impression. I can not claim to completely understand this short (not knowing Korean), but I do not think it is necessarily a ghost story - and hence, not precisely "spooky". But I could be wrong, and I have certainly changed my interpretation of a film before.

Regardless, it is still horror, and certainly "disturbing". I hope you weren't disappointed.

I'll have to agree; 'disturbing' is a better descriptive word than is 'spooky'. I'd even slip 'creepy' into the mix along with a tad 'macabre'.. :think

I too don't fully understand what the filmmaker was trying to say, ending the film the way it ended. Subtitles or understanding Korean would have definitely enhanced the understanding [at least why the characters did certain things] of the film..

I felt the movie was going in one direction [and the images of the father at the end sort of supported my line of thought], but overall I just didn't 'get it'.. But I LOVED it!

Always creepy when you look
through the peephole and the
person on the other side looks
back at you...

If nothing else, it left me with a sense of elation after experiencing a sense of dread for what was about to happen.. (Sorta what 'Tragedies' work to accomplish.) :think

Thank you Night457 for bringing this to FLM! Great little short; well worth 16 minutes of any members time! :D
I, personally, was NOT disappointed. :thumbsup

(On a sidenote: Thank goodness for the KMdb.. How this intriguing little film has been left out of the imdb is a shame!)

kev.

It is such a SHOCK when we find IMDB is not always complete and accurate ... ;)

And finding this film was a complete accident, when I was looking for something else. I had no idea it existed in Han Bo-Bae's filmography, not being on IMDB. Similarly, my release of Visiting Class is another film NOT on IMDB. I know there are many shortages of Korean and Chinese films, and I have no doubt it is the same for Russian and Indian. Since IMDB depends on user submissions for entries, and most users are lazy like me, it will of course be incomplete. And they get their ad revenue from frequently-visited pages, not obscure (to the West) ones, so I can not fault them - only myself, for not feeling like submitting any films.

So it's all my fault, I take the blame!

Hey, I heard this is pretty good. May I request a re-share, please?

Still not on imdb, and I can't find this anywhere.

Thank you, I have received the file! Sorry, I must have overlooked the youtube link when considering downloading this. Odd, since I, in fact, clicked the yt link. Wonder why that didn't connect in my brain. Anyways, thanks again.

I didn't say thank you yet. So I'm doing it now. Spooky little movie!

I wish we could have it in better quality and with subtitles.

Awwwww ... I saw yours in the "New posts" and I got excited, immediately thinking "OMG, ghost found a 1080p upgrade!!" Darnit.

That just shows how much you've spoiled me, that I expect that.
