Well it didn't exactly sweep the Oscars but at least 13-year-old Brooke Shields was a year too early to receive a razzy nomination for Worst Actress - that was the following year, for her role in The Blue Lagoon (the same honor was later bestowed on Milla Jovovich for her part in Return to the Blue Lagoon). If you're in the mood for some mindless 70's entertainment and Brooke doing what she did best, being easy on the eyes, you'll enjoy this film.

I ordered this disc from Amazon. It has no main menu; without bonus features I don't suppose it matters, but just so you know this is a commercial disc and not some custom made conversion. As usual I got rid of the studio logo and copyright warning screens that displayed on loading because I hate that shit (as I'm sure you do).

All I ask is that if you're able to use eMule, please unrar to your shared folder and seed this for a while. Every source helps. You can still burn an .iso file to disc while it's being shared. It won't interfere with the recording process.

When they make a movie now, they keep the deleted scenes and produce material for featurettes as they go, with the disc release in mind. Pre-DVD era, you're limited to whatever the studio happened to retain in their vault. Sometimes it's a lot. Sometimes only the final theatrical print still exists.

I am pretty sure this is the first Brooke Shields movie I ever saw. Just last year I was nostalgic for it and hunted it down online, probably not having seen it in 4 decades! I then went on to watching some Brooke films I had not seen, with the help of FLM. It's great getting this enhanced version. Thank you popdrome!
