hope to complete some movies in the last few days.. On saturday i'll be moving out of this flat to a new 30 m2 flat (3times as big as this one^^). This will mean that i'll be offline and not sourcing my releases for some weeks. The transfer of my internet service to the new place will take anything from 3 to 6 weeks according to my isp. In this time i guess i'll be off the forum as well (not visiting it). I hope my account will not be deleted because of inactivity. Have a nice time for the rest of the summer. Hope' there'll be lots of good releases when i return..
I've always wondered why those ISP take so much time for a new account, and why they need a three week margin - ridiculous. They can perfectly precisely predict the number of new customers next week, yet they can't say when they'll deliver. grrr WHATEVA

Check out the details and the competition; you might be better off cancelling your old account and getting a new internet connection. There might be issues with making sure you retain your old IP address at your new place; try telling them that that is not important - you'll be just as happy with a new IP address.
At the very least, a new internet connection will not take 3 weeks, otherwise the ISP will go out of business.
It takes normally a couple of weeks to establish your new connection (getting a tech guy to do some work in the phone-central) here in Norway, whatever if it's a new subscription, moving an old account, new company and so on. In addition to this, these tech guys have been on strike for several weeks so they are really behind schedule, because they reached a solution tuesday night or so. And yes, i'll be on the look out for another provider as soon as the central have been modified for adsl2+ or i can get internet through cable or fiber...
have had them for nearly 4 years now without any problems... a couple of moves, great service, really cheap adsl2+ for students... seems like i've only seen the good side of them..
