part met shows nothing in notepad except loads of boxes

Do not open the .part file, but the .PART.MET

The filename should be in the .part.met file

Metfileregenerator should do the trick - not sure where i got it but pretty suree is freeware and works superbly - select option for view not repair

thanks for trying to help guys, in the end I got pissed off and deleted it in a moment of madness.

Hopefully I will come across it again some day
