This one was certainly... unusual, yeah, that's the word I'm looking for. I'm probably just too lowbrow, but it amazes me that filmmakers can convince people to invest real money in such surrealistic plotless films that seem (to me) to have no point. The images in this film are sometimes provocative and arresting, but what exactly are you trying to say, Mr. Bartas? And other than enjoying some of the scenery you depict, why should I care what your current angst might be?

Other than the aforementioned enjoyment of some of the visual scenery, this movie was very boring. Subs weren't even needed because there was almost no speaking except at the beginning and the end. Thank god for fast-forward.

By request here's an upgrade of this strange film. Typical Sharunas Bartas. Hardly any dialogue, a surrealist narrative with no clear plot but a little OT eye candy sprinkled throughout. I can't identify any of the young ladies in that room full of kids. Bartas is famous for using amateurs with little or no acting experience recruited from the local area. However I did manage to find information on mirror girl. Her name is Greta Sapkaite and she was barely 14 during filming, so she's younger than she looks.

The disc comes with French audio and English subtitles, although with only a handful of spoken lines in the entire movie it almost doesn't matter. A Making Of featurette is also included.

Here are direct links for those who prefer that method or can't use eMule for whatever reason. All I ask is that if you're able to use eMule, please move the file to your shared folder and seed for a while. Every source helps.
