Does anyone still have this? Since katzenjammer was last active a decade ago..I’m talking about the x264 dvdrip. I think I still got an XviD Version myself. If not, I can get the dvd for cheap (less than 5€)

Wow this looks actually like a true 35mm remaster to full hd! Never thought I’d see this film in HD again. Super sharp image.

Wow thank you DreamScape!! I must have missed this one while skimming through old RELs. I do love seeing what others choose to bump, so thank you too, goku.

Here some synopsis from German Wikipedia and parts of a Review Website:
Spoiler:

Two Little Heroes is a multi-award winning children's film from Sweden (2003) that describes social phenomena such as unemployment, immigration, single parents, self-determination and religious faith.

Ten-year-old Marcello suffers from the unrealistic hopes his parents place in him. As a result, he is plagued by fears of failure and a lack of self-esteem. He asks Jesus for help.
The next day, Fatima, a Muslim, joins the class. Unlike Marcello, she is self-confident and a great soccer player. But she also has problems. Her mother has died and she has to stand up to her brothers. They want to make sure that she stops playing this sport and does not have contact with boys.
Marcello and Fatima become friends. They promise each other that they both want to fulfill their dreams.
"Carefully and imaginatively crafted children's film that unobtrusively incorporates social problems such as unemployment, racism and the integration of foreign cultures into its humorously told story. Through the winning play of the little main characters, it offers young viewers in particular many approaches to identification."
- Encyclopedia of International Film
That Swedish children are also products of their upbringing and environment is revealed in the everyday racism Fatima is confronted with, especially by the boorish Oscar. Ulf Malmros' sensitive and stylish direction never raises the pedagogical forefinger, but integrates these scenes rather casually into the sometimes poetic, sometimes whimsical or thoughtful story about the friendship of two outsiders.Even if Marcello has a bit more acting parts than Fatima, her role is so succinctly carved out that it offers high levels of identification for the young target audience. Above all, however, it is Ariel Petsonk's and Zamand Hägg's unpretentious acting that wins you over.

How dreamlike Malmros knows how to lead his little protagonists is especially evident in the interplay between Marcello and his younger sister Sophia, whose actress knows how to reveal her emotional life with glances and small gestures.

Even in the delicate scenes with the figure of the Crucified coming to life, Malmros maintains the balance between surreal fairy tale and holy-image kitsch. Last but not least, it's the design, ranging from imaginative camerawork to fluid editing to atmospheric background music, that sets "2 Little Heroes" apart. One never has the feeling that the children's film was produced with less care than comparable "adult films".
