The movie is mostly in English with a little bit of French and Lakota. There are internal English captions, but they display poorly. They include the English, as well as the French & Lakota and their translations. Since I Released this, I learned how to Extract EIA-608 Closed captions & convert to SRT. Your reshare request gave me an excuse to do that for this movie!
English SRTs in 3 versions:
Full SDH, Full English & translation, & just translations. |
The French & Lakota in the SDH version had accented characters that needed to be corrected. I could do this easily enough for the French because French spelling is widely documented online. Lakota online dictionaries were not complete enough for me to quickly figure out how to correct the Lakota that was mis-spelled, so I gave up on it! Thus there are a few spots with text like "Wé yelÃ" in the SDH. If anyone knows or can figure out Lakota and can correct the spelling on those portions, please post!
