Maybe if we can have a simple web page at
For the links it is a fairly simple matter to replace
Let us see what FLL has to say. He seems pretty savvy about this kind of stuff.
Exactly. How many times has this come up, yet Amadeus was completely clueless about it?ghost wrote:And how? Another rule encouraging people to write www in a link or not? Noone will note this.
I was just a bit ahead of you, it was seeing Napolean and Samantha that did it for me... and Tom Sawyer wasn't mentioned because it was posted elsewhere, because it is easily findable and well known and not a "rare" movie. I'll add a note about this to that thread when I get a chance.biffsteel3 wrote:No one mentioned the Adventures of Tom Sawyer in which she played Becky Thatcher with ToM Sawyer played by her Nepolean co-star.
I fell in love with her that day. I was 12. I STILL go ga-ga over little blonde girls.
What piling on? I just said three words to the guy - no yelling, no flaming, nothing.FLL wrote:On another note... piling on a relatively new and inexperienced poster, who is trying to contribute a little but doesn't know his way around this place, isn't very nice, and I don't like it.![]()

Usually the DNS has to be told whether or not you want both versions.emuler wrote:Actually, the whole problem has arisen because this site is registered in the DNS as bothhttp://www.first-loves.comAND first-loves.com. The problem is that if we do this, everyone who has bookmarked the non-www link will get a 'not found' error. Hence the need to host another page that will tell such users what to do to find our site.
Yes, and i think there are bigger problems in this world. In my opinion that is a poor solution, and I think there is a better one.
Hmm i have no idea how to edit the forum software. FLL is better in PHP.emuler wrote:I tested two other forums I visit often.
In one, changing the www made no difference. I stayed logged in.
In the other, deleting the www and pressing 'enter' automatically reinserted the www. Here too I remained logged in.
