I like the fact that DownloadHelper can get videos from youtube without even turning flash or javascript on, but your post made me aware of a limitation. It turns out the 1080p version doesn't show up as available for download unless you run the video and select 1080p in the flash. I download almost everything from there and then watch it, I got tired of the videos pausing frequently.
