I tried it but it gives me this message on the dreaded black error screen, even with my antivirus disabled.

Very strange, I do not think I have seen that error before. The send.com file downloaded in ONE MINUTE for me. I guarantee my MEGA link will not be that fast. If you get that error again for anything, try the fixes at the links below. Some of them seem easy enough.

Its 720p 6GB HDTV (high bitrate I assume) vs direct 1080p WEB-DL 2GB. Did you do a visual comparison by any chance?

I remember the old days when it was widely recommended to only download the 720p WEB-DL‘s from iTunes because iTunes 1080p was just 1080p with most of the time lower bitrate than the 720p Version. (iTunes was basically the first platform People ripped tv shows web-dl‘s from I’d say. Way beefier Netflix „WEBRips“ came along (before the scene broke the DRM, they captured the streams through capture cards exploiting hdcp I believe)

I had similar issues with other sites in the past. It all depends on your browser, your browser security settings and the ssl/certificate issues a Website comes with itself.

The help pages I linked do say something about ssl/certificate issues, with fixes that were totally new to me. I think there was something too about changing the security settings. My own security settings are pretty relaxed. Without even doing a Google search for the issue my totally non-expert suggestion would have been "try a different browser". That is probably because I like to avoid problems rather than fix them, maybe? Thanks for the browser-related feedback; chickencury1's errors had me bewildered.

Who, me? No. I deleted the 6 GB version because of the problems that I had. I see that it is still shared on emule.
