It's hard to do that with a 10 year old. You really do need your actress to be ten (or close to it) in reality. There's a lot more leeway when you're talking about a 15 or 16 year old character.

You are right, but I was thinking in terms of how appropriate it is for FLM. The old posts seem to be leaning toward "Verified Off-Topic". A movie where the youngest actor was actually 25 would make me say "NUH-UH!" even if she looked like I would have to card her to serve her a beer. I wanted reasons why it would still be ON topic, and an actual 10-year old does it. That's all.
