I wouldn't go as far as questioning the posting of foreign (non English speaking) movies although I understand what abel is saying. I also want to know broadly speaking the plot of a movie & a cute girl isn't necessarily enough. That's why I rarely release or download foreign language movies unless English subtitles are available. The only exception is for French movies where my knowledge of the language is good enough to understand what's going on.
While idler is taking the pi$$ out of providing subtitles, how about English subs for English speaking movies? Apart from emuler's need there are many regional dialects that even I sometimes have difficulty understanding. Try following the plot in a movie containing strong Irish, Scottish or Welsh accents! Hey!..........we could also insist on subtitles for American, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand & South African movies.........in fact anywhere the accent doesn't originate from London! ;)

Well, I´m downloading a version with Italian subs supposedly, my Italian is not very much worth, but still enough for broadly understanding a plot. Quoting Hitchcock was nice, the only problem are filmmakers who didn´t read it and make movies based very much on dialogues.

I was watching this movie partly - but I need to confess, I got bored even the little one is cute. Some movies are acceptable without subtitles, THIS one definitely not. I can't understand one word and this makes this one pointless. In fact it's an film with adults, mainly this old lady and some scenes with the children.

abel is right, most films need subtitles. Except some brilliant one which are speaking thru the gestures, the faces, the landscape... whatever. But normal commercial movies need to be in English or having subs.

As in example - "Innocent" - this film is brilliant without needing an audio track at all.
