Hah! I remember the standards for a "short film" were discussed at FLM but I do not remember if they came up with hard and fast rules.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences says "a short film is defined as an original motion picture that has a running time of 40 minutes or less, including all credits." I guess SOMEBODY had to make a decision, right?
This one is almost 48 minutes so it is feature length by that definition.
Personally I have my own totally arbitrary rules and do not follow the guidance of the Oscars for anything. But as for saving videos on my harddrive, everything goes in the same video folder!
