Kick It tells the story of Anja, an 11yo spirited young girl who loves soccer,even though her classmate Jonas considers soccer a game unfit for girls. Anja makes use of her sense of humour to deal with Jonas bullying; unaware that his hostility is just a disguise for his love for her. When Anja is diagnosed with leukemia, she remains optimistic and full of energy. She even continues her involvement in the school soccer tournament while still in hospital. When Anja is finally no longer able to participate in the tournament, Jonas comes up with a special plan.

Kopfüber (2013)Synopsis:
More than anything, 10-year-old Sascha likes going on bike rides with his neighbour Elli, working on his sound collection and fixing up bikes in his workshop. What he doesn’t like is the new special school he has been sent to in order to learn how to read and write. But why is he always getting into trouble... at school, at home, even with the police? One day Sascha is caught stealing and his mother decides to seek help at the youth welfare office. Social worker Frank gets a one year assignment to help the boy. How practical to always have a personal ‘bodyguard’ at your disposal! Frank convinces Sascha to have a few medical tests done. The diagnosis: ADHD, an attention deficiency disorder. Sascha is prescribed pills, his school performance improves and he gets into less trouble, but his character also changes and his friendship to Elli starts to fall apart. She’s the only one who always liked him for the way he was, but now Sascha even barely recognises himself anymore.

Hemmeligheden (2012)Synopsis
When their mother dies three children of 10, 12 and 14 keep up appearances to avoid being split-up. As they try to cover-up, more secrets unravel including mysterious tickets to Barbados.
It's a rollercoaster coming-of-age story. Focus is on the three kids thrown into extraordinary circumstances which brings out best and worst in their relationship to themselves, each other, death and having to be/become an adult. Mum's corpse only appears briefly in the first episode, and the morbid aspects of the story are undertoned in relationship to the subtle humor, the kid's emotional development story and the basic excitement of finding out who your mother and father really is.
