I´d like to add to the plot summary that the parents of little Vilma were Hungarian communists, who emigrated in the USSR, lived in a remote Central Asian part of Soviet empire, and perished during Stalin´s purges in late 1930´s, as many others. May be it´s a detail, but it may help to understand better what´s going on in movie.

And btw, doesn´t Hungary with its excellent movies (the Annunciation, Nobody´s Daughter etc.) deserves it´s own independent, huh, how can I call it, group, lik e.g. India or Austria, producing far less movies of comparable quality?

WOW!!! Finally after originally starting to download this file when it was released in 2004; I have COMPLETED the download!!!
