It's a nice series, yep and the little Angel is very interesting. Interesting to Name "Dakota Fanning", but yes... It's a bit like watching "Taken"
If you living in Germany and using Entertain from "Deutsche Telekom", you can watch it exclusiv for free in HD at the "Megathek".

I watched this a couple months ago
Season 1 ended on a cliffhanger iirc and we never got a Season 2... I'm still depressed from this, this show was such a masterpiece imo

Yeah, I was disappointed when this show got canned. That's what happens when you let yourself get into a show on ABC (Already Been Canceled). Network TV is mostly a wasteland of bad sitcoms and reality shows these days. Anything decent is screwed from day one. It almost seems like they
want series to fail - there are too many examples to be a coincidence, but how this could possibly be a profitable business model mystifies me.
Anyway, you can see
Alexa Swinton in the Marvel movie
Thunderbolts (2025) and the HBO series
And Just Like That.... I've never been fond of Sex and the City but I will admit to having downloaded episodes of the sequel series just to see how little Piper has grown.
Today, July 2nd 2025, happens to be her 16th birthday. Happy birthday Alexa!!!
In honor of the occasion here are some recent photos of her, most taken within the past year from various public appearances, photoshoots, and her own social media accounts:

I'm looking for some of her short films.
Reverb (2020) looks interesting but I can't seem to locate it anywhere. She would've filmed this right after Emergence. If I find it, I'll post it in shorts. If anyone else happened to snag it while it was available online during the pandemic a share would be appreciated!

Oh, they are making Emergence free here soon !
To be honest, I think it's about time for a rewatch, Alexa Swinton is so cute in this

She really carried this show. When she wasn’t on the screen it really lost magic

Yeah, she was a real ray of sunshine. There was supposed to be a three season story arc. Too bad we never got to see the other two seasons. The fact that they caved to Trump only reinforces what I already thought: ABC sucks. They kept changing the show's timeslot. They pre-empted it multiple weeks in a row, several times during its 13 episode run, once for a whole month. It was like they
wanted to sabotage it.
The producers should've gone to Netflix instead. After Stranger Things you'd think they would be the more logical choice than the cutthroat environment of old school network TV, where you get insta-canceled before you can build an audience.
