Thanks jezevex. I don’t care at all that she’s already older. Beauty is beauty.
I found a 8GB 1080p.AMZN.WEB-DL on Usenet.
The character was 13.
Noée Abita had just turned 17 when she filmed this, barely outside the standard FLM range. Other movies here like
Suspect (2005) and
La Petite Voleuse (1988) also feature 17 year old leads. I agree, not a big deal, Noée is beautiful.

It looks like it is now on ulozto:

Holy crud, it was hard to sync the subtitles! There was all the environmental noise that made it hard to hear the dialog in the first place (with the waveform view just a bunch of spikes that all blended together), then deciding what lines the subtitle chose to omit, and the hardcoded online videos I used as reference having a different translation ... but it seems I got it right.
English subtitles synced to the above-linked 1080p.AMZN.WEB-DL at ulozto:

Back in April, I picked up "Ava.2017.FRENCH.1080p.AMZN.WEB-DL.DDP2.0.H.264-THR" from rarbg, 6.59gb. It came with subs for 9 languages. If anyone is interested in that one, I am happy to emule it.
Otherwise, thanks for taking all that time with the subs, Night. I am curious to see different translations for the English subs. Yours feature the same translation that I have.

They were minor differences, and I only noticed it at the beginning at the beach when I could barely hear the dialog anyway. The translators probably had the same problem, and guessed at what was said. I did not do any comparisons in the middle of the movie, I just checked to be sure it was still synced.
I was comparing to a streaming ok.ru file with hardcoded English subs, because that was the version most readily accessible.

Is this still available for download somewhere? Been looking for an HD version of this film but can't find it.

I don't have the version you quoted and that torrent is dead. Here are a few that are still live:
1.76Gb 1080p with multiple-language external subtitles
https://yts.mx/movies/ava-2017
[FRENCH audio.]
4.55Gb 1080p:

[EDIT: This file has optional Russian or French audio, and optional internal Subtitles in Russian, English, French, or German IN ADDITION TO hardcoded English subtitles.]

That would be this torrent here:

Thanks, getting it now!
I downloaded the 1.76Gb YTS file and verified it as correct. (No surprise.) I am still working on the 4.55Gb btmulu torrent. So far the seeders have been Russian Federation & Belarus, so I will take a wild guess that it might have internal Russian subtitle or audio options. As long as it has the original French too, great! Will update when I have it complete.
