Yes, it was an ENGLISH produced series of 3 episodes made for the Discovery Channel. I don't believe they ever aired, and the only people to do anything with them were the French who released the episodes dubbed in French. (Quite badly I might add; taking a note from the Russian book of butchering films with horrible dubbing...) I got the DVD's and back in 2006 [ ] I posted them here:
