Also, thank you very much for the bump on this. I have never come across this one, and it looks positively delightful!
I have this movie in a very good way in my mind, because it was a very funny screening at the premiere (lot's of laughs from the audience). I never seen a movie like that at the festival. I talked after the screening with some other ones and we discuss about how much drugs the makers of that movie where taken to make this awesome movie

And it was a special moment to catch a sign from the Director and the Actress. Usually they arrange an area where you can get signatures from the Team & Actors after the screening at the festival, but for this screening they don't. For my luck I have enough time after the screening to wait in the lobby with a friend and we saw the team in a special area who they are still given an interview, so the hope was that they go out over the lobby after the interview and yep, exactly that happen after a longer time. So me and my friend where the only one, who catch autographs from the director and the little actress. The director was a bit surprised, that we was waiting so long for them to catch a autograph.

Anyway... In the last days I made the translation and watch some scenes after a longer time now and I can't await to see that movie again with my translation.

Thank you Nasuada. I enjoyed reading your recollection.

During the screening that you watched, were there German subtitles?

Also, many thanks for the upload to uloz, Night. Downloading it now.

Let me explain in a quick way the Berlinale Festival. It's the biggest public, international movie festival of the world. The special thing is, that the festival is splitted in different sections like Competition, Forum, Generation (and lot more).
All movies are running in there foreign language. All movies are subtitled with english, movies in the Competition are subtitled in English and German in the same time.
The Generation Section is splitted again in Generation kplus and 14plus. kplus is for all childs under 14, 14plus for the youth.
If the movie is running in kplus, it will be live translated in German by one person due the screening and they will also showing english subs. This live translation is for all screenings, when the internal rating (all movies running without any official rating) for the screening will be for childs under 6 yrs. If you prefer to hear the original language at the screening in kplus, you always have ability to get some earphones.

Thank you kindly for your answer, Nasuada. I admit, I am quite ignorant of the Berlinale Film Festival, or any film festival. There is a large annual film festival at a city somewhat near me. I have never made time to attend and I would know nothing of how it is structured.

My question came about because I was curious if your recollection of watching the movie at the festival assisted in your manual editing of the subtitle work that you did for the movie.

If I understand the question now correctly, yes it was helpful to have seen the movie in the past. I keep most of the movies who I have seen in my mind. Often I only need some little scenes who someone describe me to remember, which movie it can be :-X

So ... someone is tálking dúring the movie ... while the actors speak:?: :?: :?:  :icon_badidea   GIH!!! (=Gott im Himmel) ;) ;)
good that they offer headphones, otherwise that would be quite ... an "interesting" experience.... ;) ;) . But good that they have that service for the kids.

Yep, I mean the orginal language.

And yes, one person is talking during the show to translate the movie and they do a really good job every time. In the first minutes it's a bit confusing to hear the original sound and also the German live talking, but it works great and as you recognized, it's primary a special service for the younger kids to enjoy the festival in their own section.

"and as you recognized"
Having been a teacher, it's oddly comforting how Germans all speak English in the same way.... ;-0) <3 <3
