Both screens I own are 4:3 CRT. I haven't found anything better yet. Viewing angle, contrast ratio and colors are unsurpassed by any modern domestic screen available here. (Max. Resolution is 1920x1440).

A 1080p CRT!?!?!? I had no idea there was such a thing made! But sure enough, now I find plenty of Google results on the subject. Apparently response time is one of the features that pleases gamers. I'm not a gamer, but I am going to have to look into my perfectly-functioning circa-1998 model and see what it's capabilities are.
