If you find a torrent that is dead, try searching for the exact name of the torrent and sometimes you'll get lucky and find the same torrent on another site which references more trackers. I've managed to download quite a few files this way. A few times I even found direct download links.

I have reloaded the same torrent from multiple sites hoping for some result like that, but I was not sure if what I was doing made sense. Thanks!

This torrent site has been up for years: https://www.limetorrents.info/ - but it always has an invisble layer of popups so each link requires 2 clicks - but torrents work, are never fake.

I have never had any problems with the limetorrents torrents, although of course like anywhere else some of them are dead. It appears that my Adblocker blocks the popups, so I only have to click once.

Yeah, some torrents will take a long time, some will whiz down in minutes, others will never get going due to few seeds.

Sometimes it takes a wait for the confirmation for me, but I get through. I don't know if my VPN server choices make that more difficult or easier. I always use an adblocker. I have not done much searching since I rediscovered it, but btmulu still comes up with obscure results that are NOT on sites like RARBG or YTS, and some of them are still actually live. Today I loaded a search result that turned out to still be active, though I only have 98.7% so far. My source and I are waiting for the single seeder to return for the remaining MBs. All my other torrent searching sites gave me a big fat nothing, no torrents either dead or alive.

I learned quickly that the top 4 or so "search results" are usually marked 在线播放 which means "play online" and are porn-vertising that has nothing to do with the search terms. There are no pictures, so I just do not click the links: porn avoided. Whether the ACTUAL results are porn depends on the search terms, which can be applied broadly -- just the same as Google.

This is getting ridiculous.
