I thought that kids today were perfectly well-behaved even without their parents around because they have completely internalized the over-anxious helicopter parenting and are afraid to do anything that might be "dangerous"?

I hope I am wrong, of course, for the sake of the kids! Life needs *some* risk, but I am not fanatical about it, not by a long shot. I think I even rode a bike without a helmet, but never tried bungee-jumping. Sigh. Maybe this movie will just reinforce my idea that the kids are NOT alright.
